Family Ministry delivers Christmas Cheer

to local seniors!

Family Ministry enjoyed a fun afternoon visiting residents of a local senior home. We hung Christmas Wreaths that were lovingly made by our ministry families on the doors of the residents' rooms. The children played games with some of the seniors while we visited with them. The afternoon was concluded with a festive performance of Christmas carols and playing of very loud instruments by the smallest children in the group.

Sprinkler Park Day

What a great turnout for our latest Family Ministry gathering! Many families showed up to play and visit at Whitney Park last Sunday. The children quickly discovered how fast the slides are when your swimsuit is wet! We welcomed a new family, The Rebollos, who just moved here from Colorado. We enjoyed picnicking and catching up on our summer adventures.

Camping!

Mass in the Meadow - FM had the most beautiful outdoor mass this year while camping. Fr. Stanley presided over this children's liturgy. The alter was decorated with nature crafts the children had made and all of them got to take part in the mass. We even sang some of out favorite VBS songs! Our families realized that when we come together as a community of believers, God will be with us, no matter where we choose to celebrate.

Valentines Day Pizza

FM made some great wreaths from hearts that included our favorite bible passages about love. We included the names of our family members and placed our favorite family in the middle - The Holy Family.
